Hope

As I live each day

I have in my heart

A belief so strong

It will never depart

It's a very strong feeling

That I hold very close

I keep it to myself

Cause I don't want to boast

This feeling that I have

Takes me on a journey

I think about things

That most think is funny

This mustard seed I have

I hold very tight

I'll keep it in my heart

and let the spirit guide me right

I've got to keep this feeling

I've got to keep the faith

I've got to keep believing

'cause it's never too late

Hope is this feeling

I have deep inside

Let there be no mistake

This is hope and not pride

Hope is the key

And it will always be

Hope is the way

Hope brightens my day.
