OBSTACLES OF LOVE

The two of us in a funny situation

Strapped and bound by law and obligations

We both are aware of the consequences

But hence, we know that our hearts are divided

With no true pathway of direction

Sometimes when I'm with him, I think of you

And the times we shared were variations of the truth

Love with obstacles, how could this be

The one I want is not with me

My mind starts wondering, what are you doing

Are you thinking about me like I am you

Many nights when I'm in bed, I toss and I turn

Knowing in my heart it's for you I yearn

A stumbling block here and stumbling block there

But I'll leave you knowing

The love I have for you covers more space than air.
