Remember me - I'm the one you interviewed
The one you didn't hire
The one you spent little time with in considering to acquire
Yes, I was frustrated and I still am
I just want you to remember me
You denied me the chance to feed my family
So please, remember me
Because I'll remember you
Just like the morning dew
You are the one who put extra flames up under my fire
Simply because, I was the one you didn't hire
Was I too bold or brash
Because the questions you asked were not difficult to grasp
Was I over or under qualified or did I have too much pride
Did I lack experience, education or was I just a procedure to dispel humiliation
Many many things crossed my mind
Who knows what I contemplated at that time
And yes, I did feel neglected
You didn't call or write to signal I wasn't selected
Unprofessionalism at its best
And for that reason I can not rest
I won't say I made it but I see the top
And with people like you I can't afford to stop
My job searching is over and I'm happy as can be
I just wanted you to -- REMEMBER ME.
