Your Friendship vs. MINE
Friendship is a very special bond
That goes much deeper than just having fun
It's like an airplane flying in the sky
A friend is the co-pilot which in any case one can rely
Friendship, holds tighter than glue
When trouble arises you'll know who to turn to
It's a missing link in a chain
That fills a void so you can ride the same
Your friendship vs. mine is quite different
If you were in a bind, I would be Mr. Magnificent
If you were without I would be too
Because I would give my all to you
Your friendship vs. mine I look at this way
The disparity of yours is like night vs. day
When I was struggling you showed no concern
Your primary focus was how much you could earn
Nevertheless, I'm still here
Although the friendship I thought we had was senseless and insincere
When I had a good job and things going my way
We communicated a lot - almost everyday
Now that the tide has turned and I'm sort of in the mix
I wonder if our friendship could ever be fixed
At times when I really, really needed some help
There was no friend around to assist in the hand I was dealt
Many days and nights I was depressed
But to my so-called friends myself I did not express
I am glad I went through those trying times
Because without the bad - completeness you can not find
When it's your friendship vs. MINE.
